Jacopo Bellini (c. 1400 – c. 1470)

Jacopo Bellini was an Italian artist and one of the founders of the Renaissance movement. He painted in Venice and northern Italy. His sons, Gentile and Giovanni were also famous painters, as was his son-in-law, Andrea Mantegna. Very few of Jacopo’s works exist today.
