Thomas Pollock Anshutz (1851 – 1912)

Thomas Pollock Anshutz was an American artist and teacher. He was noted for his portrait paintings and depictions of ordinary people in everyday situations. He was also a co-founder of the Darby School and was a leader at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His portrait paintings won awards.
