Philip Hermogenes Calderon RA (1833 – 1898)
Philip Hermogenes Calderon was an English artist, with a French mother and Spanish father, he was born in Poitiers, France. Calderon started working in the Pre-Raphaelite style before he moved on to historical subjects. He was Keeper of the Royal Academy in London.
