Marco Basaiti (c. 1470 – 1530)
Marco Basaiti was an Italian artist of the Renaissance period who spent most of his time in Venice. He is also known by the names, Marco Baxaiti, or Marcus Basitus, or Marcus Baxiti and Marco Basarini, they are all the same artist. His works mainly consist of portraits and religious subjects.
