Jules Breton, or, Jules Adolphe Aimé Louis Breton (1827 – 1906)
Jules Breton was a French, 19th century artist. He painted in a Naturalist style (realistic subjects in natural settings). His works included scenes of the French countryside and by using traditional methods of applying paint, he managed to portray the beauty and tranquility of the French pastoral lifestyle.
