Joseph Denovan Adam (1842 – 1896)
Joseph Denovan Adam was a Scottish artist. He made several trips to the Highlands with his father, Joseph senior, who was also an artist of note. They would sometimes paint together on the same canvas. Whilst Joseph senior painted the landscape, Joseph junior would paint the cattle.
