Henry Bone (1755 – 1834)
Henry Bone was an English enamel painter. He was officially employed in that capacity by three successive monarchs, the first being George III, followed by George IV and then, William IV. Early in his career, he worked as a porcelain and jewellery painter. He was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts and produced the largest enamel paintings ever seen at that time.
