Girolamo da Carpi (1501 – 1556)

Girolamo da Carpi was an Italian architect and artist of the Ferrarese school. There isn’t a lot of information available about Carpi but he probably studied under the artist, Benvenuto Tisi, also known as, Il Garofalo. One of Carpi’s main influences may have been Dosso Dossi.
