Ferdinand Bol (1616 – 1680)

Ferdinand Bol was a Dutch artist, etcher and draughtsman. He was influenced greatly by his tutor, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn’s compositions and a lot of Bol’s early works were of a similar style. Unfortunately, this has led to some of his work, being attributed to Rembrandt.
