Edmond Aman-Jean (1858 – 1936)

Edmond Aman-Jean was a French symbolist artist. He was well known for his portrait paintings, particularly of women. He had his first art classes under the guidance of Henri Lehmann at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, where he later shared a studio with Georges Seurat.
