Denys Calvaert (1540 – 1619)
Denys Calvaert was a Flemish artist from Antwerp. He moved to Italy while in his twenties and spent the rest of his life there. In Italy, he was known as Dionisio Fiammingo. Calvaert is known for his drawings and small copper paintings.
