Andrea del Sarto, birth name, Andrea d'Agnolo di Francesco Luca di Paolo del Migliore di (1486 – 1530)

Andrea del Sarto was an Italian artist, he was very successful during the High Renaissance and early Mannerism movements and was famed for his beautiful frescoes and alterpieces. His father was a tailor, so Andrea became known as Andrea del Sarto, which translates as, Andrea of the tailor.
