Alfred de Bréanski Senior (1852 – 1928)
Alfred de Bréanski Senior was an English landscape artist of Polish descent. He was renowned for his magnificent studies of the Welsh and Scottish Highlands. He also painted many views of the River Thames. Most of his works contained water, cattle and sheep, set in grassy backdrops, often with a lone figure in the distance.
